Scholarship Announcement for Employees of the Revenue Department of the Ministry of Finance, Southwest State of Somalia.

The Ministry of Finance of the Southwest State of Somalia is pleased to announce a scholarship opportunity for the employees of the Revenue Department of the Ministry of Finance. The scholarship program aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of the staff to support the functioning of their respective departments and the future reforms in the domestic revenue Collection.

The scholarship program will target master’s degrees in economics, IT, Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Law, Audit, and HRM, and all employees are encouraged to apply to one of the universities in Annex 1.

Requirements for employees applying for the scholarship program are included but not limited to the following criteria:

• The scholarship program will be offered to civil servants only.
• Must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized University.
• Must have received an admission letter from the listed below universities to qualify for this master’s program Scholarship.
• The employee must have served for at least four years in a functional role within the Department.

The scholarship is highly competitive, transparent and gives preference to the female employees of the Ministry of Finance, as they are highly encouraged to apply the scholarship.

All applicant’s documents should be submitted to the office of the Director General within 90 days starting from February 18, 2025, and individuals who obtained admission letters will be shared with the Director General and Revenue Director not later than 30th May 2025 by sending to this Emails:[email protected] cc [email protected]
